Frequently asked questions

Getting started

How does the ordering process work on PrintFlow TR?

The flow has five steps: (1) The customer uploads an .stl/.3mf file on the producer's quote page, chooses material, colour, quantity and delivery details, and submits a request. (2) The producer sees the request in the panel and replies with a quote including price, shipping and lead time. (3) The customer accepts or declines the quote via a secure link. (4) An accepted quote becomes an order; the producer completes production and quality control. (5) The producer marks the shipping status, and the customer tracks the order on a timeline. The platform takes no share; earnings stay with the producer.

Can I start as a producer for free?

Yes. With the Free plan you can immediately use your own panel, send quotes and track orders; no share is taken. On the Free plan you are not listed in the producer catalogue; customers reach you via your quote page link. You can move to a paid plan for features such as catalogue listing and your own branding space.

How do I open a producer account?

Sign up via the "Become a producer" link, then complete setup by adding your brand name, workshop details, printers and materials. Once you publish your setup, your own branded store address (<slug>.printflowtr.com) and quote page are ready; customers can sign in and submit requests (guest requests are not allowed). You can start on the Free plan; features such as catalogue listing, live availability and your own domain unlock with paid plans.

Requests & Quotes

Which files can I upload, and can I send more than one?

You can upload your 3D models in .stl and .3mf formats to a request. You can attach multiple files to the same request to send multi-part jobs in one go. After upload, the file dimensions, triangle count and estimated volume are analysed automatically.

How is the quote price determined?

The producer sets the price. The system offers the producer an estimated cost based on the model volume, material, infill, print time, quantity and any extra operations (supports, painting, assembly). The producer builds on that estimate and adds material, labour, shipping and profit to quote a final price. VAT is shown as a separate line in the quote and order.

How long is a quote valid, and can I decline it?

Every quote the producer sends has a validity period shown on the quote screen; once it expires you cannot accept it and can ask the producer for a new one. If you don't like a quote you can decline it without giving a reason; the request then closes, and if you wish you can add a note and ask the producer for an updated quote.

Payment & Shipping

Do prices include VAT?

Quotes and orders list material, labour and shipping separately and add VAT as its own line. The total you pay at checkout is the net amount including VAT. For invoiced jobs the VAT amount is also shown separately on the invoice.

How can I pay?

The payment method depends on the producer. You can pay by bank transfer/EFT directly to the producer's account, or by card via a secure payment link the producer sends from the panel. The platform does not process payments; payment goes to the producer's own account or payment provider.

How do I track my order shipping?

When the producer ships the order, they mark the tracking number and carrier in the panel. You'll see the "Shipped" step and the tracking number on the order timeline; you can track the parcel on the carrier's website using that number.

For Producers

How do I list ready products, and how do I add images?

Create a ready product in the panel and enter a title, description, price, material and stock. You can add multiple images to strengthen your showcase; adding them is recommended because products without images convert worse. Published ready products are listed on your own branded storefront (<slug>.printflowtr.com) and the customer orders from there. The platform does not sell products; payment stays directly with the producer.

What is Product Sales and which plans include it?

Product Sales is no longer a separate add-on; it is included in the Pro and Pro Plus plans. Pro includes 50 listings + an XML product feed, while Pro Plus includes unlimited listings + XML feed + second-hand equipment listings. From the Marketplace section of the panel you can carry your products to external marketplaces (Trendyol, Hepsiburada, N11, etc.) and manage listing and feed quotas. Circuit Studio is likewise included in Pro and Pro Plus plans and is free for customers.

Where do I download contracts and Excel files, and what does the printer agent do?

From the relevant panel section you can download the producer contract and Excel (CSV) exports for accounting/reporting. The printer agent discovers the printers in your workshop over the network and streams their status (print progress, remaining layers, nozzle/bed temperature) to the panel within seconds. The agent only reports status and never sends commands to your printer.

Account & Security

I forgot my password — how do I reset it?

Click the "Forgot password" link on the sign-in screen and enter your registered email. Use the reset link sent to your email to set a new password. For security the link is valid for a limited time; if it expires, create a new reset request.

Can I make requests about my personal data, and can I delete my account?

Under the applicable data-protection rules you can request access to, correction of, and deletion of your data through our contact channels; your request is answered within the legally required period. To delete your account you can create a request from the panel or by writing to us. Data other than invoices/accounting records we are legally required to keep is deleted or anonymised.

What are the review rules?

Reviews can only be left for delivered jobs and are published with the relevant producer's approval. Reflect your genuine experience; reviews containing insults, profanity, personal data (phone, address) or advertising are not published. The producer or the platform may unpublish reviews that breach the rules.

Guides

Payment & Shipping

How do returns and withdrawal work?

Because 3D prints are made to order, the right of withdrawal under distance-selling law is limited for personalised items. If a product is faulty, broken or not as described, you must contact the producer and the platform's contact channel with photos within 48 hours of delivery. Where a case is accepted, the producer provides a reprint, repair or refund. In disputes, platform records and correspondence are taken as the basis.

For Producers

What do producer plans offer, and which service models can I choose?

Producer plans determine features such as catalogue listing, a monthly quote quota, your own branding page and priority support. You can start on the Free plan and upgrade as your needs grow. You also choose your service model: printer-only production, design-only, or both. Customer requests are routed to you according to your model.

Can I manage channel listings, and what is an XML feed?

In the panel's store-channels section you can manage your listings and XML product feed for EXTERNAL marketplaces (Trendyol, Hepsiburada, N11, etc.). Your feed link contains price, stock, title and image data, and is used to share up-to-date product data with external marketplace integrations. The platform does not sell products; the primary sales channel is your own branded storefront (<slug>.printflowtr.com). When you update stock or price in the panel, the feed updates too.
